IN WHICH JFRO TAKES A LEVEL IN GEEK

Dr S. has been asked to playtest our Interface Zero roleplaying game . This means our merry band of roleplayers make some observations that in theory make the game better and in return get free stuff. Yes! Being a geek is finally (minimally) paying off! I'm queen of the nerds, bitches! In other news, cyberpunk is totally back, baby. Who says? Uh, me and this awesome Japanese electro band . Thanks to Patrick Macias for the tip.

I MIGHT AS WELL FACE IT, I'M ADDICTED TO FIREFOX EXTENSIONS

Firefox is a little poky on the Mac, but I can't stop using it because I'm addicted to the extensions . Here's what's on my browser at home right now: FastestFox --Since it's slow, might as well try to make it faster. It also let you search highlighted terms on Google & Wikipedia without even right-clicking. FoxyTunes --Lets me control iTunes through the browser and look up lyrics and artwork for song that's playing Greasemonkey --So that I can use Better Flickr Better Flickr --Improves my Flickr social experience immensely by making it easy to add links and bold or italic text in comments or descriptions. I love that it makes a little icon of someone's avatar so they know who you are talking to. No Script --protects me from ads and unnecessary video or audio (love those sites with music on each page) on unfamiliar sites. I have to remember to turn it off once for sites I like, but after that it remembers the site. Autofill Forms --I missed the autofill
